Our school team is SO grateful for all the support you've provided with this year's updated, mobile policy of "off/silent & away" during the entire instructional day. This single move is making a HUGE, positive impact on how students are engaging in learning and socializing -- exactly what middle school is all about! We have students participating in athletics and playing games during lunch -- all while meeting/making new friends (see image below). All those SMILES...reflecting JOY... it's what fills my soul-bucket. It's why each Cub Staff Member is committed to fostering a culture of BELONGING through DIGNITY - where ALL kids can be successful!

CKMS’s Anchored4Life Program begins in October! There are three groups: Cub Guides who help new students, Cub Crew who do presentations for 6th graders, and Care Cubs who promote our monthly themes throughout the school year. Kind, friendly students who’d like to help make CKMS a welcoming, amazing place are encouraged to apply!

Applications are due back to the Counseling Office this coming Monday, September 22nd. Students will find out their groups on Wednesday, September 24th.

CKMS is a "late-start" secondary school. To ensure ALL staff are able to attend their district-level department meetings, CKMS will be operating on a "half-day" schedule for October 9, January 22, and April 23. Students will be dismissed @ 11:55A on those dates.
